The Baltimore Ravens are trying to reach the Super Bowl for the first time with multiple MVP winner Lamar Jackson leading the offense. Unfortunately, the Ravens are not having the start to the season they were looking for. After the first four games of the season, the Ravens are tied with the Cleveland Browns at 1-3, sitting in last place in the AFC North.

The job for Baltimore will be even harder moving forward, with the absence of one of their defensive stars for the rest of the season.

“Ravens Pro Bowl DT Nnamdi Madubuike is out for the season due to his neck injury,” ESPN’s senior NFL insider Adam Schefter reported on Monday.

As if that weren’t enough, Jackson suffered a hamstring injury in the Ravens’ loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, and it looks like it’ll impact his availability moving forward.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh on QB Lamar Jackson and his hamstring injury: ‘The way I know Lamar, if he could’ve gone in the game, he would’ve been in the game. That’s how Lamar is.” That does open the door to Jackson missing next Sunday vs. the #Texans,'” reported NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Fans reacted to the brutal news on social media.

“This is setting up for the Steelers to win the division huh? Wild,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“Classic Harbaugh… praising Lamar’s grit while quietly bracing fans for a possible absence,” one fan added.

“You don’t gotta keep lying John. It’s okay to say the white flag was waived,” another fan added.

It’ll be interesting to see how the Ravens’ season plays out.
