A-list actress Sydney Sweeney is one of the hottest actresses in Hollywood right now, and she’s also single. That led one NFL superstar to shoot his shot with the actress.
During a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, Sweeney opened up a little bit about her dating preferences when she was asked to define her “type” of man.
“Athletic and outgoing and funny. I’m a sporty girl, so someone needs to be able to climb a mountain with me, go skydiving with me. And someone who loves their family. I love myself a man…oh, wow, when you print that, you won’t hear the inflection in my voice,” Sweeney told Cosmopolitan in the interview.
“Look, I am a boss in my life. I take control. I go after what I want. I am confident, and I am successful, and I don’t actually need a man. I’ve got myself. I’ve got an incredible group of girlfriends. I’ve got a team of badass women. That is very intimidating to a lot of guys, so a guy needs to be able to stand in that with me. It takes a very specific person who can handle the world that comes with me. There was a guy who I really, really liked, but he told me he can’t handle my world. It’s a hard thing.”
Clearly, Los Angeles Rams superstar wide receiver Puka Nacua seems to think that he fits that description, as he wasted no time in shooting his shot on social media.
Nacua, who led the league with 1,715 receiving yards this season, offered a cheeky response to Sweeney’s preferences on social media, suggesting that he might be just the man that she is looking for.
“Love skydiving,” Nacua wrote in a post on X.
Of course, the last time that a high-profile NFL player used his platform to express their interest in a celebrity, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift began dating. A little over two years later, they’re now engaged.
We’ll have to see whether or not this message from the NFL superstar lands him a date with the A-list actress.
