The Los Angeles Rams have relied heavily on the excellence of star wide receiver Cooper Kupp thus far this season. Things may look even uglier on offense for the Rams moving forward after a horrific-looking injury to Kupp in Sunday’s Week 10 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.
The play occurred in the fourth quarter, where Kupp went up for a catch on the sideline and came down with his right foot caught underneath Cardinals cornerback Marco Wilson.

Kupp grabbed at his lower leg right away after the play, and he was clearly hampered on the sideline.
He struggled to put any weight onto his right leg, hopping to the bench and later the locker room with help from some Rams personnel on the sidelines.
As if things couldn't get worse for the Rams, Cooper Kupp is now out with a right leg injury and can't put any pressure on the leg as he is helped to the bench. pic.twitter.com/x5q6p6M9bI

He ultimately did not return in the game, which the Rams went on to lose 27-17, and there are serious concerns that this could end up being a significant injury for Kupp.
Cooper Kupp went to the locker room and was ruled doubtful to return almost immediately. That's never good. Rams season getting worse

Cooper Kupp came into Sunday’s game with 813 receiving yards on the season, which is more than each of the Rams’ next three pass catchers combined.
His importance certainly cannot be understated for the Rams, and Los Angeles’ season is quickly turning into a complete disaster.
One year after winning the Super Bowl, the Rams are 3-6 and in last place in the NFC West.
There will surely be updates to come on Kupp’s availability and official diagnosis in the near future, but this certainly marks a low point for what was already a miserable season.
