The Pittsburgh Steelers, in one of the biggest surprises of the early NFL season, have the AFC North in a stranglehold. Pittsburgh and veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers are currently in second place in the entire conference.

However, it hasn’t been all smooth sailing for Rodgers. The entire season, the four-time MVP has been searching for the right helmet, after his preferred one had been phased out of the league’s health and safety protocols.

I can’t stand the helmet,” Rodgers said of having to switch to a newer Schutt at mandatory minicamp. per Pro Football Talk. “I’ve worn a Schutt for 20 years and somehow it finally didn’t pass the safety standard.”

By training camp, Rodgers had switched to yet another Schutt.

I don’t like it, no,” he said in August. “I’m trying to change. We’re in the process still. It looks like a damn spaceship out there.”

Unfortunately, Rodgers still doesn’t appear to have found a helmet he’s comfortable with, as he came out of Pittsburgh’s bye week with yet another model, this time a Vicis helmet.

Rodgers still has not provided a public review of his latest hardware, but if things keep going this well for the Steeles, it’ll probably stay near the bottom of his list of concerns.
