Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has always been a bit strange and unusual in his life outside of football, but his latest decision has football fans scratching their heads.
The four-time MVP took to social media on Wednesday to show off his first tattoo, which is definitely a weird one. The new ink features an Illuminati eye amidst a number of different interesting elements.
Rodgers stated on Instagram that this tattoo, his first, is very special to him, and wrote an impassioned caption after posting a picture of it.
“There’s a deep and meaningful story and connection to absolutely each element of this art piece, and I’ll share a little more about that one day,” said the Packers quarterback.
For the time being, the meaning of this tattoo will be open to the interpretation of the public, but it definitely has a ton of elements to it, while all being extremely unclear to most.
Many around the NFL world see this as another strange decision by Rodgers.

While he is clearly expressing himself in daily life, the Packers’ main hope is that he can replicate the success that he has shown on the football field over the years.
He will have to overcome the loss of former teammate Davante Adams, who was traded this offseason by the Packers to the Las Vegas Raiders, but Rodgers has shown time and time again during his career that he can overcome adversity. Maybe his new tattoo can bring him some newfound luck heading into the 2022 NFL season.
