Despite months of rumors linking him to the Dallas Cowboys with team owner Jerry Jones fanning the flames, Odell Beckham Jr. ultimately did not return to the field last season after suffering an ACL injury during the Los Angeles Rams Super Bowl victory over the Cincinnati Bengals back in 2022. But it looks like there’s a chance he ends up with the Cowboys, after all.
On Thursday afternoon, it was revealed that Odell Beckham Jr. was trying to make his return to the NFL and would be holding a workout for NFL teams on Friday in Arizona. And while there will undoubtedly be several teams attending the workout and interested in signing Beckham, prominent NFL insider Jeremy Fowler of ESPN thinks the Cowboys stand out from the rest.
Fowler revealed that Beckham “would love to play in Dallas” as he begins planning and preparing for next NFL season.
“He’s a perfect personality fit. He’s a massive star, the Cowboys are America’s Team,” Fowler said during an appearance on Get Up. “It makes too much sense.”
We’ll have to see if the two sides do ultimately come to a deal, but it’s long felt like Beckham would ultimately become a Dallas Cowboy.
