Since his retirement from the NFL, four-time All-Pro receiver Antonio Brown has undergone quite the career change, shifting to the entertainment industry to become a hip-hop artist. And based on the size of his crowd at his most recent performance, it seems Brown is doing quite well in his new venture.
This weekend, Brown performed in Miami at Rolling Loud, which has been the largest rap-only music festival in the world since it began in 2015. Brown became the first athlete-turned-rapper ever to perform at the festival, according to HotNewHipHop.com.
Brown performed his hit song “Pit Not The Palace” in front of a massive audience in Miami.
Following his controversial exit from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Brown has been dedicating all of his efforts to his new musical career and has become friends with Grammy Award winner Kanye West, with the two even expressing a desire to purchase an NFL team together.
When a video of Brown’s latest performance hit social media, it got mixed reviews from the NFL world. While many poked fun at the former receiver’s new career, several were pleasantly surprised by his musical talent, including New Orleans Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan and former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson.
