The NFL is still a business at the end of the day, and as such there’s always tough roster decisions that have to be made. With the preseason coming to a close, tons of  those decisions are being made, as teams make their final cuts of the offseason.

Now, insiders across the league are reporting on those cuts, and naturally, some cuts are more shocking than others. One cut that is sure to raise some eyebrows was reported on Saturday.

“Falcons released CB Lamar Jackson,” reported Ari Meirov on Twitter.

Fans reacted to the news on social media.

“Dave Ziegler would pick him up thinking he got Lamar Jackson,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“(Cardinals reporter Dan Bickley) would go on a 5-minute blast telling the Cardinals to sign him to start at QB before he figured it out,” another fan added.

“(Buffalo Bills) can y’all pick this man up? Imagine the headlines when Lamar Jackson intercepts Lamar Jackson,” one Bills fan wrote.

“Ravens have the opportunity to do the funniest thing,” someone else added.

Hopefully, Jackson lands on his feet with another team and can carve a career out for himself that will allow him to stop being compared with Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.
