The New York Giants are off to an abysmal start to the season, sitting at 0-3 in their first full season of the post-Daniel Jones era. Ironically, Jones, now with the Indianapolis Colts, is 3-0 after the first three weeks of the season.
Unfortunately, things are set to get even worse for the Giants and their offense, which has looked inept so far this season, as they’re set to be without a key contributor for multiple weeks, according to one prominent league insider.
“Doctors believe Giants RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. is expected to be sidelined two to four weeks due to the dislocated shoulder injury he suffered Sunday night vs. Kansas City, per sources. With Tracy out, the Giants are expected to lean on rookie RB Cam Skattebo and veteran RB Devin Singletary,” reported ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Fans reacted to the news on social media.
“As soon as he grabbed his shoulder on the sidelines, I knew it was a separated shoulder,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“I don’t like how the Giants seem to heavily factor in contracts with who they’re starting. We want TURBO not MOTOR,” another fan added.
“Terrible for Tracy. Great for us fans-Skattebo is as fun to watch as there is. He’s baker mayfield as a running back,” someone else wrote.
It’ll be interesting to see when Tracy can get back on the field.
