The Los Angeles Rams are hoping to get another Super Bowl run out of veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford before he retires and sets his sights on making the Hall of Fame. The NFC West is wide open this season, and with the Rams sitting at 2-1 heading into Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts, there’s no reason to think they won’t have a good crack at winning he division title.
Unfortunately, Sunday’s game may be harder than Stafford and company anticipated, as one of his top targets’ availability has been thrown into doubt, according to one prominent league insider.
“Rams are listing WR Davante Adams as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Colts due to his hamstring injury,” reported ESPN’s senior NFL insider Adam Schefter.
Fans reacted to the news on social media.
“Questionable tag again… hamstring injuries are tricky. Do you sit him this week or risk starting him in fantasy?” one fantasy football fan wrote on Twitter.
“That could be a huge swing for the Rams if Adams can’t go, Stafford loses his top weapon just as they’re trying to build rhythm on offense,” someone else added.
“Colts 4-0 incoming. Don’t stand in front the train . You get in on the good vibes,” one Colts fans posted.
It’ll be interesting to see how the Rams’ offense looks if Adams can’t go.
