Leonard Fournette got into a terrible car accident from which the former Super Bowl champion is lucky to have eluded severe injury.
Fournette shocked many after posting a video of his SUV, which was severely burned while driving on the highway.
He posted on his Instagram, “Man, it was one of those days today, but I would like thank God, my car caught on fire while I was driving, But I am still blessed.”
Dov Kleiman also tweeted, “Good news: Leonard Fournette escaped a very scary moment earlier today. His car caught fire while he was driving, as you can see from the video, it could’ve been really bad.”
Car fires are no joke, so it’s good to see that Fournette is doing okay after the accident.
Many flocked to Fournette’s IG post and wished him well, and sent good thoughts to him. Commenters included NFL stars Frank Clark and Jalen Ramsey as well as rapper Meek Mill.
Kleiman also posted pictures of the car, which were provided from Fournette’s video.
It’s a wonderful thing that the former LSU standout was able to escape without any major bodily harm. It’s one of those situations where you almost immediately stop taking life and everything else for granted. The best you can hope for now is that, at least mentally, he and anyone else can level off in peace.
