Las Vegas Raiders star wide receiver Davante Adams is widely considered one of the best and most talented wide receivers in the league, but you would never know that from watching a Raiders game this season – particularly the one against the Detroit Lions on Monday night.

As JPAFootball points out on social media, the Las Vegas Raiders passing offense was particularly bad on Monday night. It was so bad that no wide receiver – Adams included – caught a single pass in the entire first half of the game.

“The Raiders did not complete a SINGLE pass to a wide receiver in the first half. This man deserves so much better,” JPA Football said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

Adams did catch one pass – a third-quarter reception that went for just 11 yards – but quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo missed him on six other targets, two of which would likely have gone for long touchdowns if the passes were not wildly inaccurate.

All in all, it’s pretty horrible news for the Raiders that they have one of the most dominant wide receivers in the entire league but can’t seem to get him the ball, and the NFL world had a lot to say about it on social media.

We’ll have to see if things improve for the team this season.
