Just as the NFL Draft was kicking off and Jared Goff and Carson Wentz were going 1-2 in the NFL Draft, images of another sure first-rounder started spreading like a wild fire at the worst possible time. Ole Miss offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil was believed to be the person seen taking a hit from a bong out of a gas mask. Just what the NFL needed, right?
The video in question appeared to originate from Tunsil’s Twitter account, which has since been deleted. The video, of course has been deleted and we anticipate the usual “my account got hacked” excuse coming in due time. The video was previously recorded, at which point in time we do not know for sure. Tunsil is at the NFL Draft in Chicago as we post this story, so the video had to be recorded earlier.

This is not the first time we have seen Tunsil mixed with headlines revolving around marijuana though. He was previously connected to an incident that saw Ole Miss teammate Robert Nkemdiche charged for possession in a hotel room. Nkemdiche also went falling out of a hotel window at the same incident. How this affects him now, as the draft is playing out as we speak, remains unknown. None of the networks have touched on the story, which makes sense given the breaking nature and uncertainty surrounding the now viral video.
