The Baltimore Ravens are running out of time to get things turned around in an AFC North that should be wide open for the taking. Baltimore has found itself at 1-4 after the first five games of the season. The Ravens’ defense has looked like one of the worst units in the league, and things aren’t exactly going smoothly for the offense either.

Veteran running back Derrick Henry has struggled to get things going so far, and star quarterback Lamar Jackson missed a blowout loss to the Houston Texans with a hamstring injury. Unfortunately, things don’t seem to be trending toward a Jackson return this weekend against the Los Angeles Rams.

“Lamar Jackson officially didn’t practice today,” reported ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Twitter on Wednesday.

“He’s really gotta be hurt .. Lamar is a gamer and plays when banged up, so the fact that he’s out this long tells me that there’s more going on than they’ve disclosed Ravens are a VERY different team with/without Lamar Jackson,” one fan wrote on Twittter.

“t’s better to save him for the next one,” another fan added.

“He’ll play after the bye and the Ravens win out and still win the division with the soft remaining schedule. Steelers have a tougher road ahead. This division is very weak this year,” someone else added.

It’ll be interesting to see when Jackson can return to the field.
