The Arizona Cardinals are looking to bounce back in a major way after a disastrous collapse against the Tennessee Titans resulted in the Titans’ first win of the season. The Cardinals are now in the midst of a three-game losing streak following a hot 2-0 start to the season.
Unfortunately, it’s looking as if the Cardinals are going out of the frying pan and into the fire. Now, franchise quarterback Kyler Murray has had a concerning injury development that could affect his status for Arizona’s upcoming game against the Indianapolis Colts.
“Cardinals HC Jonathan Gannon said Kyler Murray won’t practice today due to his foot injury, and he’s taking it ‘day by day,'” reported NFL Network’s senior NFL insider Adam Schefter.
Fans reacted to the news on social media.
“We sure it wasn’t the concussion he got from getting hit in the head with the ball? Because that was really embarrassing,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Gannon failed to mention he injured it after kicking a table out of frustration after a disappointing call of duty session,” another fan joked.
“Kyler needs to take his time and make sure it is completely healed up before he comes back,” one fan added.
It’ll be interesting to see if Murray is able to go against the Colts.
