It would appear there’s still some bad blood between North Carolina Tar Heels head coach Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots, the franchise he won six Super Bowls with before his unceremonious departure following some disappointing seasons.
Belichick made his first public appearance since being snubbed from the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Sunday, attending the Tar Heels’ basketball game against the Duke Blue Devils in Chapel Hill with his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson.
The pair was photographed together in the crowd, and people were quick to notice Hudson’s shirt. which was from Orchids of Asia Day Spa. The Jupiter, Florida, massage parlor was notably tied to Patriots owner Robert Kraft’s 2019 prostitution bust.
The charges against Kraft were ultimately dropped, but the incident is still viewed by many as am embarassing chapter in Kraft’s time as the Pats’ owner.
People on social media reacted to Hudson’s fashion statement on social media.
“This is hilarious,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“I think we know who Belichick blames for his HOF snub,” wrote sports media personality Jason Whitlock.
“She’s winning me over,” another person added.
Belichick and Kraft have a storied, but complicated, history. The two exchanged public jabs following Belichick’s tenure in New England after Kraft said that he took “a big risk” when he hired Belichick. It’ll be interesting to see if Kraft has anything to say about Hudson’s tee.
