When the Cincinnati Bengals signed former Kansas City Chiefs starter Orland Brown Jr. to become their next left tackle, it initially appeared that former starting left tackle Jonah Williams would simply slide over to right tackle for the team. That plan seemed to fall apart quickly when Williams requested a trade from the team shortly after the addition of Brown, but so far, he is still with the Bengals – and it doesn’t sound like a trade is imminent.
During a press conference this week, Cincinnati Bengals director of player personnel Duke Tobin called Jonah Williams “a valuable member of our team,” and was unable to provide any update about a potential trade.
“I don’t have any updates on Jonah,” Tobin said in his press conference according to Pro Football Talk. “He’s a member of our team. He’s a valuable member of our team. If that changes, you guys will be the first to know. But right now that hasn’t changed.”
It does not appear that Williams will be going to a new team anytime soon, and the NFL world had plenty to say about that news on social media this week.

We’ll have to see how this situation develops or if Williams will be playing for the Bengals next season.
