Jaylen Waddle is one of the most dynamic players in the NFL. But a concussion sidelined him for the Dolphins’ outrageous 70-20 beatdown of the Denver Broncos last weekend. It doesn’t sound like the former Alabama star will be sidelined for long, though.
On Thursday, Waddle cleared concussion protocol at Dolphins practice. By clearing protocol, the former first-rounder has likely paved the way for the team to activate him for Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills.
“Miami Dolphins’ wide receiver Jaylen Waddle has cleared the concussion protocol, the team announced Thursday,” ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter posted.
Waddle’s return is big for the Dolphins, even after their prodigious performance. Miami might have lit up the scoreboard like a Christmas Tree against Denver, but what Waddle brings to the table is second to none. His speed, agility, and abilities make him one of the most exciting young receivers in the NFL. Miami’s lucky to have him and they know it.

Miami and Buffalo have been two of the AFC’s best thus far. They will collide in an exciting matchup at 1 p.m. Eastern this Sunday live from Buffalo. With Waddle likely playing, expect it to be a good one.
