The 2025 NFL season kicked off on Thursday night with a clash between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles in a classic NFC East showdown. However, things got off to a surprising start.
After an injury on the opening kickoff led to one player being carted off the field, Eagles defensive lineman Jalen Carter got into a chirping match with Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and spat on Prescott, leading to Carter’s ejection.
Former Eagles star Jason Kelce weighed in on the incident on Twitter, making an extremely vulgar joke.
“This is the most wild start to an NFL season of all time. First play of the game, one player is carted off, the other ejected. I mean everyone knows you don’t spit, you swallow obvi,” Kelce Tweeted.
Fans reacted to Kelce’s vulgarity on social media.
“You’re f**king drunk,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“production note Your main demographic is now 14-20yo girls,” another fan added.
“Jason. Kelce. There are children on this timeline. Turning Twitter into X with one tweet,” someone else added.
“don’t think we can even blame CTE for these guys–they were born 2 of God’s most perfect oafs,” another fan wrote.
Hopefully, Kelce takes a more professional approach moving forward, considering he is a part of the media now.
