Miami Dolphins long snapper Jake McQuaide found himself involved in a shocking situation when Ohio police removed him from a church after he tried to confront the archdiocese about a local pornography scandal involving priests from the community, per PEOPLE.

McQuaide reportedly confronted Cincinnati Chancellor Jason Williams about rumors that a priest viewed pornography on a parish computer.

“We want to put these rumors to rest. Can you answer this for me?” McQuaide reportedly asked, to which Williams replied, “This is not the time.”

“I’m sorry, sir, this is the time and the place. I will stand up,” McQuaide responded before continuing with, “Did the priest use our parish computer to look at pornography? …True or false?”

Fans reacted to the news on social media.

“The catholic church is like the beltway bandits in dc…same story different day…no accountabilty…other than a strongly written letter,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“Bravo, Jake McQuaide,” someone else added.

“The guy has a point. Plus the priests should have been kicked out of priesthood,” another person posted.

Per reports, McQuaide was neither detained nor charged with a crime for disrupting mass. Hopefully, the priest in question is held to account if the rumors of what he did are proven true.
