According to the Fayetteville Observer, he had been visiting friends. When he was walking to his Range Rover, a group of men with guns forced him into the car. “We don’t know how long he was kidnapped,” Fayetteville police spokesman Antoine Kincade said via the Observer. “But it was a short period of time.”
Wolff went unharmed in the incident, and his car was recovered. According to the Observer, one man has been arrested in the case, and charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, first-degree kidnapping, conspiracy, larceny, possession of a stolen motor vehicle and possession of marijuana, with bail set at $156,000.
Wolff was waived by the Eagles last August, after believing he wouldn’t recover from his knee injury. He played 18 games for the Eagles, making seven starts, accumulating 43 tackles, and one interception.
