Elon Musk and his ridiculous Twitter re-brand were the talk of the town on Monday. After Musk and his team decided they wanted to change Twitter’s name to “X,” an expected massive uproar of disapproval emerged. And that included some NFL teams.

Musk’s decision-making since acquiring Twitter has come under constant fire. The website and application have made needless and frustrating decisions, including rate limits on both tweets and direct messages. Changing the name to X, an extremely odd obsession from Musk dating back decades, did not go over well at all with anyone.

A few NFL teams decided to voice their displeasure as well. One such team? The Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals made a cheeky remark on the site, saying, “We liked the bird better… #RIPTwitter.” The Cardinals also decided to poke fun by making a Twitter-like logo of their famed bird logo.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Chargers, never shy on social media and always daring, also got in the mix. The Chargers posted a hilarious video of a man going to jump into a pool. The man eventually slipped, just as the new ‘X’ logo overtook the former Twitter logo, and fell into the pool. The team tweeted, “Still gonna call it Twitter.”

Don’t expect Elon Musk or his new Twitter re-brand to go over well with anyone who knows what they’re doing anytime soon.
