Seems everyone has an opinion on the surprising relationship between NFL star Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, from football fans to celebrity gossipers to the pop icon’s loyal “Swifties” fans.
But if you’re wondering what Donald Trump thinks about the couple, wonder no more. Love him or hate him — and there are plenty of people on both sides of the Trump divide — you can always count on the opinionated former president to be brutal in his assessment of a situation.
Trump has weighed in on the Kelce-Swift relationship, telling the Daily Caller website, “I wish the best for both of them. I hope they enjoy their life, maybe together, maybe not — most likely not.”
That does not sound as if Trump expects this relationship to blossom. He may not be the most impartial observer, however; there is a bit of history between Trump and Swift, as she has been a vocal critic of him on social media in recent years.
Swift, arguably the most popular entertainer in the world, became the biggest story of Week 3 in the NFL when she attended Kelce’s game against the Chicago Bears Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium. That game boasted the highest TV ratings of any Week 3 game.
Swift announced earlier this week she plans to attend the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium Sunday night.
