Miami Dolphins star receiver Tyreek Hill scored one of the most unconventional touchdowns of his career on Sunday Night Football against the Los Angeles Chargers.
The scoring play occurred in the second quarter on a run play that was never designed to go to Hill. Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa handed the ball off to Jeff Wilson Jr, and Wilson proceeded to fumble the ball.
There was a massive pile of players who thought that they had possession before the ball popped out of the pile of players. It was then recovered by Hill, who took then went 57 yards for a touchdown.
Hill’s game-breaking speed is usually shown in the passing game, but it was unveiled in an unconventional way that the NFL world is certainly raving about.

This fumble recovery showed just how special Tyreek Hill is as a player. With this play, he is the only player in the Super Bowl era to score a receiving touchdown, a rushing touchdown, a kick return touchdown, a punt return touchdown, and now a fumble recovery touchdown.
With the Buffalo Bills’ win on Sunday over the New York Jets. this game could certainly be massive for the Dolphins in their hopes of potentially winning the AFC East.
A loss would set the Dolphins back two games in the division, and undoubtedly make their chances of potentially winning the division much lower.
Hill’s play could be the momentum boost that the Dolphins need on Suntor to get a big win in this matchup.
