The Miami Dolphins are undefeated after the first three weeks of the 2023 NFL season. Their quest to improve to 4-0 got a lot more comfortable after good news emerged on Thursday. The Dolphins learned that star wide receiver Jaylen Waddle cleared concussion protocol.
With the news that Waddle cleared the concussion protocol, we are waiting for the next step. This positive news could give way to the former Alabama Crimson Tide star joining the team for their anticipated matchup against the Buffalo Bills. The Dolphins travel to western New York this weekend for a showdown for the top of the AFC East division.
“Miami Dolphins’ wide receiver Jaylen Waddle has cleared the concussion protocol, the team announced Thursday,” ESPN’s Adam Schefter posted.
The Dolphins are on the heels of a prolific offensive performance. Miami dropped 70 points in an impressive 50-point win over the lowly Denver Broncos. Despite not having Waddle, the team looked incredible offensively and couldn’t be stopped. With Waddle back in, now the team will get elements to their game that they lacked against Denver. Which is to say, they’re already a damn good team, and with Waddle around, they could be poised for more.
Buffalo will have its work cut out for them. But the Bills’ defense has been a strong unit. It could make for a very fun game this Sunday now that Waddle appears ready to go.
The NFL world learned of the news on Jaylen Waddle and had plenty to say.
