Last year, Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin faced a terrifying situation when he went into sudden cardiac arrest on the field in the middle of a game against the Cincinnati Bengals. And from the sound of it, Bronny James – the son of NBA superstar LeBron James – went through a very similar situation. And as a result, Hamlin is offering his support.
On Tuesday morning, news broke that Bronny James had to be rushed to a nearby hospital by ambulance after going into cardiac arrest during a recent workout with the USC Trojans basketball team, where James recently signed to play college basketball.
It was a terrifying situation all around, and Damar Hamlin knows that feeling all too well. So he took to Twitter to express his prayers and support for Bronny and his family during the difficult time.
“Prayers to Bronny & The James family as well. here for you guys just like you have been for me my entire process,” Hamlin said in a tweet.
Hamlin was able to make a full recovery from the situation and intends to return to the football field this upcoming NFL season. Obviously, everyone hopes the same is true for Bronny James.
