The Cleveland Browns were hopeful that this year would be an improvement from last year’s dissapointing 3-14 showing. However, the Browns are 0-2 to start the 2025 season, and players are already making their frustrations known.

“(It’s) embarrassing. We got to be better on defense. We got to be better as a team. They slowly chipped away and we did a solid job, holding them to 3 when we could, and then eventually the dam broke and they just did whatever they want, and we have to continue to play a 60-minute game,” star pass rusher Myles Garrett following the Browns’ week two loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

Many fans have wondered if Cleveland might consider turning from veteran Joe Flacco to see what either Dillon Gabriel or Shedeur Snaders can bring to the team, but shockingly, head coach Kevin Stefankski seems content to let things play out as is.

#Browns Stefanski said he won’t consider a quarterback change from Joe Flacco to Dillon Gabriel,” reported Browns insider Mary Kay Cabot.

Fans reacted to the decision on social media.

“I like Kevin Stefanski, I think he’s in a really difficult spot right now and is searching for a lot of things he doesn’t have. But I’m sorry, this answer simply isn’t good enough. Not even close to good enough,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“We’ve gotta hold this dude accountable for W/L at this point. Rookie kicker last week, Flacco errors everywhere, next week could be over before halftime if we turn the ball over. This is just baffling from smartest guys in the room HC & GM,” one Browns fan added.

“This statement alone is having me check out on Kevin. Childish. There is very little downside to starting a rookie QB. We have 2 RBs and a TE playing,” someone else added.

It’ll be interesting to see if Stefanksi loses his job over his loyalty to Flacco should the Browns continue to lose games.
