As the Carolina Panthers continue to struggle this season rumors and reports have started to circulate that the team could be interested in trading away star running back Christian McCaffrey. The rumblings have gotten so strong that the Panthers star even had to address them this week. And those rumors just keep heating up.
According to NFL reporter Aaron Wilson on Thursday, the Carolina Panthers have received plenty of interest for Christian McCaffrey with “multiple teams” exploring trade options with the Panthers.
“Multiple NFL teams remain interested and are actively exploring trade scenarios for Panthers star Christian McCaffrey, per league sources. Unclear if he’ll be dealt ahead of NFL trade deadline, per sources, but several sources expressed belief this is advancing and could happen,” Wilson said on Twitter.
If McCaffrey is traded, it would undoubtedly be the biggest trade in the NFL season and send shockwaves around the league. As a result, the NFL world had plenty to say about the recent update on Twitter.

Though he has spent a lot of time on injured reserve recently, playing just 10 games the past two seasons heading into this year, McCaffrey is undoubtedly established himself as one of the most dominant players in the NFL.
