Sunday’s matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills came down to the wire and could have gone either way. But it was the Bills that did enough to come away with the victory. And Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes was none too happy about it.
Mahomes and the Chiefs had the ball with just under two minutes left trailing by only three points. And it looked like they were going to take the lead on a huge play from star tight end Travis Kelce.
Mahomes completed a deep pass to Kelce, who then pulled off a brilliant lateral to Kadarius Toney for what seemed like a touchdown to take the lead.

However, the play was called back due to Toney lining up offsides on the play, a crucial error that would go on to cost the Chiefs the game.
The Bills defense then forced Mahomes into two incompletions on the drive, including a fourth-down incompletion for a turnover on downs that secured their victory.
After the Chiefs offense walked off the field and got to the sideline, Mahomes began to completely lose it, irately yelling at the officials to no avail.
It’s unclear exactly what Mahomes was yelling about in this situation. The fourth-down play was a pretty cut-and-dry incompletion.
It could have been about the offsides call on Toney earlier in the drive that negated the touchdown, but that also was the correct call when you look at the replay.
Regardless, fans watching at home certainly took notice of Mahomes’ frustrations and had plenty to say about it.

Mahomes and the Chiefs will look to snap their growing losing streak in Week 15, where they will face off against the New England Patriots.
