Star quarterback Aaron Rodgers was finally traded to the New York Jets on Monday after months of the NFL world waiting for the seemingly inevitable move. Most Packers fans are likely sad about the Aaron Rodgers era in Green Bay coming to an end. However, an NFC North rival certainly is not upset to see him go.
The Chicago Bears have had countless battles against Rodgers, and most have not gone in their favor. Rodger famously told Bears fans that he “owns them”. And the stats certainly back that up.
The four-time NFL MVP holds a 24-5 record against the Bears in his career. In those games, he holds a 109 QBR with 64 touchdowns and only ten interceptions.
Given his lengthy success against the Bears, they are clearly pleased to see him headed to the AFC. The Bears’ social media team took to Twitter to post a meme of a bear waving goodbye in a hilarious message to Aaron Rodgers.
Many Bears fans shared this sentiment for Rodgers’ departure on social media.

Bears fans have dealt with elite quarterback play from the Packers for quite some time, first dealing with Brett Favre and then Aaron Rodgers.
The Bears will now need to worry about former first-round pick Jordan Love, who is expected to be the starting quarterback for the Packers moving forward.
Love is mostly unproven through the first two years of his career, only starting one game thus far and appearing in ten total games.
It’s obviously unclear how his career will pan out in Green Bay, but it would definitely be difficult to be much better against the Bears than Rodgers was with the Packers.
