The Arizona Cardinals are going into the season with veteran Jacoby Brisset as the starting quarterback after parting ways with Kyler Murray this offseason. It marks the beginning of a new era in the desert, and the Cardinals aren’t expected to necessarily compete for a Super Bowl this season.

However, not even the situation with Brisset is smooth sailing at the moment, as the veteran seeks a reworked contract before he goes into Week 1 as the starter.

“Everything is good from a dialogue standpoint, but like we said this is voluntary so that’s where we will leave it,”  head coach Mike LaFleur said of the situation, per the team’s official website.

Even in times of relative uncertainty surrounding the on-field product, the Cardinals will always look to keep fans engaged, even in years when the product on the field is expected to be a bit underwhelming. A fun way for teams to do that has become the annual schedule release videos.

Unfortunately for the Cardinals, they used AI to create theirs and appear to have made their fans upset with the decision.

Fans aren’t thrilled with the use of AI

Fans shared their feelings on the video on social media.

“Get this AI slop out of here this is genuinely embarrassing. Awful team awful owner awful social team. We’re the joke of the league for a reason and you losers are the tip of the iceberg. You should feel ashamed,” one fan wrote on X.

“If being the worst team in the NFL wasn’t enough punishment our Socials Team is posting AI slop now,” someone else added.

“Embarrassing. Bidwill, sell the team. Every single fan wants you to sell the team. Legitimately every single fan,” another fan added.

Hopefully, Arizona can exceed expectations this season and win back some goodwill from its fans.
