The Arizona Cardinals are desperate to bring their three-game slide to an end and get back into the win column before their goals fall out of reach in a very competitive NFC West division. Unfortunately, star quarterback Kyler Murray has missed multiple practices this week with a foot injury.
On Friday, according to one prominent insider, there was a shocking update involving Murray’s foot injury that could have major implications on his status for this week’s game against the Indianapolis Colts.
“After missing the past two days of practice due to a foot injury, Cardinals QB Kyler Murray is practicing today,” reported ESPN’s senior NFL insider Adam Schefter.
Fans reacted to the news on social media.
“Im curious how Kyler’s foot injury might affect his performance this season. Do you think he’ll be able to shake off the rust quickly? And what do you see as the biggest challenge for him coming back after missing practice,” one fan asked into the void on Twitter.
“Great news for the Cardinals! Kyler’s bounce-back speed is elite! Hoping that foot’s as tough as his arm this weekend,” another fan added.
“Great news for the Cardinals. Hoping Kyler Murray gets back to full strength quickly,” someone else wrote.
It’ll be interesting to see how Murray’s foot holds up the rest of the season.
