The Cleveland Browns were one of the worst teams in the league during the 2024 season. Through four games of the 2025 campaign, it doesn’t seem as if much has changed in Cleveland, as the Browns are sitting at 1-3.

The Browns have had one of the best defenses in the league in the first quarter of the season, but they have paired it with one of the league’s worst offenses. Veteran quarterback Joe Flacco has already thrown six interceptions on the season.

After Week 2, head coach Kevin Stefanski made the shocking decision to stand by Flacco.

Browns Stefanski said he won’t consider a quarterback change from Joe Flacco to Dillon Gabriel,” reported Mary Kay Cabot.

Flacco struggled again with interceptions in the Browns’ Week 4 loss to the Detroit Lions. Now, the head coach is making a shocking decision in the wake of the offense’s struggles week after week.

Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said he’s still not considering a QB change. ‘That’s not our focus … We didn’t do enough on offense,'” reported Daniel Oyefusi after the loss to the Lions.

Fans reacted to the decision on social media.

“Then they should have used the picks they spent on dillon and shedeur on another position, like OL or WR,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“He’s clueless. Flacco is the biggest reason they aren’t doing anything on offense. This shitshow rivals Hue Jackson coaching!” another fan added.

“I’m thinking they wanna see how 4 pans out. If they put in a rookie now and they start hoopin, that’s money left on the table. As much as I wanna see the kids get their shot, if that was gonna happen, Flacco wouldn’t have been on this roster. All in all, 4 will BALL,” one fan added, referring to Deshaun Watson.

IT’ll be interesting to see if the Browns end up giving one of their rookie quarterbacks a chance.
