The Cleveland Browns are hoping that this season goes better than last year, when the Browns won all of three games. Things are off to a shaky start so far. Cleveland is 1-2 through three games, and while the offense hasn’t been impressive, the Browns’ defense has looked like one of the best units in the league.
The Browns’ next chance to improve their record will be on Sunday against the surging Detroit Lions. Lions offensive coordinator ohn Morton made it clear that he doesn’t feel the Browns have faced a rushing attack like his, and now the leader of the Browns defense is responding.
“He’s entitled to his opinion. He hasn’t seen a defensive front like ours…we have the privilege to see who’s right,” defensive lineman and former Defensive Plauer of the Year Myles Garrett said.
Fans reacted to Garrett’s statement on social media.
“Dude we held Derrick Henry and Lamar to 7 millimeters or something, if our offense wasn’t (bad) we’d be scary. Unfortunately our offense is indeed (bad),” someone else added.
“As a Lions fan, I really wish the Browns were more well rounded on offense. It would be fun to see both teams doing well at the same time,” someone else added.
“Way to poke the bear!! What’s the line on Myles sack total for the game??” one fan added.
It’ll be interesting to see which unit gets the last laugh on Sunday.
