New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has never shied away from off-the-field controversy throughout his career.
Rodgers recently created headlines by endorsing controversial Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Kennedy Jr. is renowned for his anti-vaccine activism. He found a home for his views on The Joe Rogan Show, hosted by the UFC commentator of the same name.
To hype the appearance, The Joe Rogan Show‘s official Instagram account posted a picture of Kennedy Jr. and Rogan arm-in-arm in Rogan’s studio.
Rodgers reposted the photo to his Instagram stories, writing “Let’s go!!!!!!” as an impromptu caption while attaching a sword emoji and two alien head emojis over the bodies of Kennedy Jr. and Rogan.
The sword emoji references an earlier post by Rodgers in which he declared he would be giving his sword to Kennedy Jr. throughout the presidential campaign. It’s not immediately clear what he meant by the alien emojis.

Kennedy, in his appearance on the show, told Rogan that he believes America’s Central Intelligence Agency assassinated his uncle, former president United States president John F. Kennedy Jr. He also revealed, without offering any proof, that he thinks he too could be assassinated by “the intelligence community.”
The NFL world was quick to react to the Instagram post that Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers made:
