Last week, New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers made it clear that he intends to stay in New York with the team for a few years, and based on his recent purchase, it sounds like that definitely is his plan.
This week, The Daily Mail reported that Aaron Rodgers has purchased an absolutely beautiful $9.5 million mansion in New Jersey as he sets down roots in the area after joining the team a few months ago.
“Sources tell DailyMail.com that Aaron, 39, bought an eight bedroom, ten bathroom mansion this summer as he prepares for his first season as a New York Jet,” Allan Butterfield wrote for The Daily Mail on Thursday. “The home is nestled in Montclair, New Jersey – just a mere 20-minute drive from MetLife stadium – and boasts panoramic views of the New York City skyline.”
The Daily Mail describes the design style of the mansion as “sleek and contemporary” with “walls of windows” to allow in natural light. It also has an open floor plan that “seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor living space.”
Photos of the new space have quickly gone viral with fans reacting to the lavish mansion.
4000 square feet with 10 bathrooms+8 bedrooms sounds so odd to me https://t.co/1g5JbMsr0z

As soon as Jets traded for Rodgers I knew he would get a crib in Montclair https://t.co/CBV3oqWqVb

How long will it take Aaron Rodgers to throw as many TDs as the number of bathroom in his house? https://t.co/mUiEPVt8Et

After spending about a decade and a half in the Green Bay, Wisconsin area while he played for the Packers, this will certainly be a noticeable change for Rodgers.
