The New York Jets brought in former Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn to be the franchise’s new head coach this offseason, and one of the first moves Glenn made was letting four-time MVP winner Aaron Rodgers know that his services were no longer needed in the Big Apple following two extremely dissapointing years with the team.

Rodgers signed with the Steelers, and ironically, former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Justin Fields stepped in to become the new starter for the Jets. Unfortunately for the Jets, things have gone horribly this season, while Rodgers and the Steelers sit atop the AFC North.

The Jets are 0-7, making them the only team in the league that has yet to record a win. For most of the first seven games of the season, Fields has struggled immensely, and he was even benched in favor of veteran Tyrod Taylor after the first half of Sunday’s loss to the Carolina Panthers.

Still, Glenn has not decided who the long-term answer is at the position, according to one team insider.

“Aaron Glenn says he hasn’t decided on his QB yet,” reported Rich Cimini of ESPN.

Fans reacted to Glenn still ruminating on things on social media.

“He’s an idiot if he thinks Tyrod Taylor is better than Justin Fields. Garrett Wilson not playing hurts,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“Fields isn’t the problem on this team. Once again, Fields is stuck on a team with a defensive HC and a weak OC. No one would be successful in his situation. OL is trash. WR are trash besides one guy who was out. Aaron Glenn was a terrible hire. Won’t last more than one season,” one fan added.

“Aaron Glenn is a joke. It’s not a QB problem, it’s a coaching problem,” another fan added.

It’ll be interesting to see which direction Glenn moves in.
