This afternoon, Twitter lit up for a while when news came that fans attending today’s Mississippi State-Alabama game in Starkville were warned about a potential rabid bat situation.
So, yeah, that’s not good! It got better tonight, though, when Texas A&M’s Kyle Field made a similar announcement:
If you’ve owned a home or lived anywhere with bats, you’ll know that they absolutely love to come inside as weather starts to get colder. A stadium, which sits quiet and empty most of the time (especially during the day) and features artificial caverns and rafters would make for a very attractive bat habitat as well, so this all checks out.
Please leave the bats alone.
