There were some rough moments for SEC teams Saturday, from Tennessee’s loss to Georgia State to South Carolina’s loss to North Carolina to Ole Miss’ loss to Memphis. And the Missouri Tigers added to that ledger Saturday night with a 37-31 road loss to the Wyoming Cowboys, one where they led 14-0 after the first quarter and then were promptly outscored 27-3 in the second. Here’s one of the second-quarter scores, where Tigers’ QB Kelly Bryant coughed up the ball and the Cowboys’ C.J. Coldon promptly turned it into a touchdown:
Not long after that, Wyoming took the lead thanks to a 61-yard touchdown run from Xazavian Valladay:
And in the fourth quarter, the Cowboys got a crucial fourth-down stop in the final 30 seconds:
And in the final seconds, their fans rushed the field.
That’s a nice win for the Cowboys, and a tough start to the year for the Tigers.
