The LSU Tigers have been known to have some of the rowdiest fans in the country for college football games at Tiger Stadium. That also appears to be true in the offseason after a wild story emerged about a group of students stealing beer from the stadium on Sunday.
19-year-old LSU student Bryce Tilotta was charged on Sunday morning for an incident involving “a group of “college-age males” stealing multiple cases of beer.
WBRZ-TV in Baton Rouge first reported the incident, detailing that Tilotta and his group of friends were initially spotted by LSUPD at 3 a.m. Sunday carrying the beer. They reportedly fled the scene when the officers approached.
LSUPD then looked at the surveillance video from Tiger Stadium from earlier in the night, which showed the group loading beer cases into a black pickup truck. They then tracked the license plate of the truck and found stolen beer in Tilotta’s room. It was determined that Tilotta and his group stole approximately $1,500 worth of beer.
It’s obviously never okay to steal something, but many gave Tilotta and company props for even being able to get into the stadium to try and pull this off in the first place.
Others made jokes about the high prices of beer at Tiger Stadium meaning that the student really didn’t steal all that much beer.
As expensive as beer is there, he probably didn't get much.

All jokes aside, these LSU students undoubtedly should have rethought their decision as it very clearly did not work out in their favor.
