Oklahoma State Cowboys first baseman Griffin Doersching crushed a mammoth home run during Friday night’s Big 12 baseball game against the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
With the Cowboys trailing 6-4 in the bottom of the seventh, Doersching had a hitter’s count at 3-1, and he certainly took advantage of the opportunity.
Doersching hit a moonshot blast that had an estimated distance of 513 feet. Yes, 513 freakin’ feet. It cleared the massive left-field scoreboard at O’Brate Stadium.
That distance may sound hard to believe, but it’s much more believable when you see the video:
That’s a mind-blowing dinger.
Oklahoma State provided the batted ball data of the 513-foot bomb, which featured a launch angle of 33 degrees and exit velocity of 113 mph.
