College softball coach celebrates milestone victory

Baylor Bears college softball coach Glenn Moore celebrated a milestone victory on Wednesday.

Moore earned his 1,000th collegiate win as coach. The Bears beat UT Arlington to net the significant achievement for the Baylor coach.

Many in and around the Baylor Bears family reacted to the milestone victory.

“Numerous NCAA Tournament Regionals. 4 trips to the Women’s College World Series. A Big 12 Championship. Now, career win No. 1,000. Baylor Athletics also pointed out that the two longest-tenured coaches at Baylor earned career milestones this week. Baylor Women’s Tennis coach Joey Scrivano celebrated his 500th career win as tennis coach.

Baylor Baseball coach Mitch Thompson offered kind words to Moore. “Congrats @BUMoore. Awesome job! 1000 Wins! Wow! I know there are many more wins to come, but I also know that it has been, and will always be about more than just winning to you! You are a difference maker in the lives of all your players! Blessed to know you!” Thompson said.

The Bears are 23-5 after their win over UT Arlington. In the absolutely loaded Big XII, they sport the fourth-best record as of now.
