It’s been quite a rise to fame for LSU Tigers star Angel Reese over the past month as she led her team to the NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship – becoming a viral sensation in the process after she taunted Iowa Hawkeyes star Caitlin Clark toward the end of the game. And now, it looks like she’s taking advantage of it with a massive endorsement deal.
On Monday night, Angel Reese announced that she had signed a pretty impressive NIL deal with Mercedes-Benz, which appears to have given her a brand-new car that she showed off on Instagram.
“Why not get a new car when it’s your 21st birthday week,” Reese wrote on Instagram. “Thank you Mercedes-Benz Baton Rouge for helping me purchase my new car! This is a gift to myself for everything that I’ve accomplished in 1 YEAR but I wouldn’t be the Bayou Barbie without Bayou Traditions and MatchPoint Connection.”
The Instagram post quickly went viral on social media, earning over 424,000 “likes” on the platform in just the first four hours that it was online.
It’s a lucrative deal for Reese, but she’s proving she’s worth it based on her social media reach.
