College Football Playoff Ohio State Faces Clemson In Sugar Bowl

The college football season is now in full swing on Saturday with a full slate of games for the first time this year, but Saturday night’s game between No. 2 Ohio State vs. No. 3 Notre Dame game is by far the most high-profile game. And it looks like the NFL scouts have also taken notice.

According to Carolina Rice of The Ozone, an eye-popping 43 NFL scouts from 27 different teams are attending Saturday night’s primetime showdown.

There will be many NFL scouts in attendance, and thankfully there will also be plenty of NFL talent on display, as well.

Ohio State boasts several NFL Draft prospects including the potential No. 1 overall pick in Buckeye quarterback C.J. Stroud. The Buckeyes’ roster also features a duo of potential first-round picks on the offensive line – Dawand Jones and Paris Johnson Jr. – as well as Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who is widely considered the No. 1 receiver in the country.

Notre Dame has its own group of potential NFL prospects, as well. Tight end Michael Mayer is one of the top tight end prospects in the NFL Draft and Irish left guard Jarrett Patterson is one of the top interior lineman prospects in the nation.

It will certainly be a star-studded affair on Friday night, and the NFL scouts will be there to take it all in.
