However, the rumor has been revealed as entirely baseless.

Fans reacted to the situation on social media.
“Was she supposed to mourn and do nothing else for the rest of her life?” one fan wrote on Twitter, absolving Bryant of any guilt even if the rumor had been true.
“A woman is allowed to move on after her husband has died. This is a nothing burger,” someone else added.
