Cleveland Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson was ejected from Friday night’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies for slapping the Grizzlies’ Jae Crowder on the butt in the third quarter. It was Thompson’s second technical foul of the game, resulting in an automatic ejection.
It’s apparently butt-slap week with Cleveland athletes. On Thursday, New Orleans police obtained an arrest warrant for Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., after Beckham slapped the butt of a police officer in the LSU locker room following the Tigers’ national championship victory.
