On Wednesday night, the New York Knicks actually won a playoff game.
The No. 4 seed Knicks took down the No. 5 seed Atlanta Hawks 101-92 in Game 2 of their Eastern Conference first round series. It’s the Knicks’ first playoff win since May 16, 2013.
Derrick Rose led the way for New York with 26 points, four assists, and four rebounds. New York outscored Atlanta 57-35 in the second half.
And the combo of fans just recently returning to arenas and the Knicks winning a playoff game for the first time in nearly 3,000 days made for an amazing atmosphere at MSG.
The series is tied up 1-1 and now heads to Atlanta. Game 3 is on Friday 7 p.m. ET.
