The NBA does a tremendous job of marketing its star players. So much so that the wives and significant others of its star players often become stars and celebrities in their own right.
Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry’s wife, Ayesha Curry, is a great example of this. As is the wife of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James (and mother of Lakers guard Bronny James), Savannah James.
Savannah James’ star power has recently led to her going viral on social media for how she interacts with fans, or rather the ways in which she doesn’t interact with some fans.
In a clip that’s making the rounds on Twitter, Savannah can be seen happily taking pictures with female fans, while more or less choosing to ignore the men asking her for pics.
Fans reacted to the clip on social media.
“She’s married to a Billionaire high school sweetheart, Why disrupt and disrespect that relationship ??” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Because men be acting creepy and doing things to piss off and get her husbands attention,” someone else added.
“Her husband is a public figure and his image is her livelihood. Plus, she’s MARRIED. Leave her alone. lol,” one person wrote.
It’ll be interesting to see if men learn their lesson and stop asking Savannah for pictures.
