The Milwaukee Bucks’ Grayson Allen was known for dirty plays more than anybody in college basketball during his time at Duke (perhaps more than anybody in college history, period), and it’s continued at the NBA level.
Allen was assessed a Flagrant 2 foul — resulting in an automatic ejection — after a hard foul on the Chicago Bulls’ Alex Caruso in the third quarter on Friday night. First, Allen made contact with his left hand on Caruso, who was going up for a layup or dunk. And Allen topped it off by swinging and making contact with the right hand. Caruso took a rough fall to the ground.
Naturally, the basketball world had a lot to say about this one. Here’s a sampling of the reaction on Twitter:

Euthanize Grayson Allen. He cannot be rehabilitated and he does not deserve sanctuary
