A LeBron James museum opened on Saturday in his hometown of Akron, Ohio.
Some of the items showcased at LeBron James Home Court at House Three Thirty were carefully selected by St. Vincent-St. Mary High School where the four-time MVP took the team to three state championships in four years.

On the self-guided tour, there’s even a replica of the apartment where James grew up and his mom, Gloria James, curated it.
“And then when it all came together, it was emotional when she walked in there,” Michelle Campbell, the executive director of the LeBron James Family Foundation told Spectrum News 1. “She sat at the table and just could remember playing cards and hanging out and just having those moments.”

Of course, his post-high school career is on display as well featuring Cleveland Cavaliers memorabilia, gold medal-winning Olympics, and beyond from each team he’s been a part of across his 21-season career.
There’s also tributes to his fans.
“And this area is a tribute to his fans, and he has saved and responded to every letter that he’s ever received,” Campbell said.

“My dream was always to put Akron on the map, so to have a place in my hometown that allows me to share my journey with my fans from all over the world means a lot to me,” James said in a release. “I’ve been known to hang on to a lot of things over the years, and I always knew there would be a time and place to bring them out. I’m so proud that place is House Three Thirty, a space my Foundation created to serve my I Promise families and the entire community.”
